Ryzen 3 aka Zen 2 board with AM4 socket.
For more specs see manufacturer’s website.
👍 Good
mITX form factor
supports ECC RAM
X470 chipset: high performance but does not have the thermal issues of the X570
really cheap (cheapest component in the built system)
Update 2022/August: still providing BIOS updates 3 years after launch
Neutral
only 32 GB max RAM
only one Gigabit Ethernet port: either one more or a faster port would have been nice
does not wake from S3 on BIOS RTC-alarm (only S5)
Update 2023/April: added support for EFI wake time to
FreeBSD, wich does support S3 wake on timer.
👎 Bad
poor BIOS quality
crashes when inspecting SecureBoot variables, customer support is clueless
temperature reading in BIOS is off, makes fan curves a bit of a gamble
Update 2021/June: recent BIOS update swapped the fan curves around: system curve became CPU and vice versa. That was an unnecessary nasty surprise.
Update 2022/September: the ASL code in the BIOS that does the temperature reading and reporting to the OS is all wonky; check the annotated ASL below.
Update 2021/June: Gigabit Ethernet chip is super glitchy: keeps watchdog-timing-out and needs
power cycling to recover (temporarily), which is pretty annoying if you are
running this as a headless file server.
Update 2021/December: see 166724
and 208205 pointing
to net/realtek-re-kmod.
Bottom line:
good value for money (maybe...)
BUT: cannot recommend to buy because of poor BIOS quality, unless you really have no other choice
